Why PNTA?
From our humble beginning in 1975 as the local, Seattle-area supplier of theatrical equipment and consumables, PNTA has expanded our staff and capabilities over the years to provide a wealth of services for customers across the country.
While we still sell supplies and equipment for the theatrical and entertainment industries, now we do it both online and at our spacious new warehouse location at 615 S. Alaska Street. We also rent and repair equipment. Our technical services people are experts at integrating and retrofitting system components to keep lighting control, sound and special effects equipment up and running. We also provide theatrical drapes and soft goods. Corporate, non-profit and private clients alike choose PNTA’s Event Services to help them host memorable events with a flair for the dramatic and a watchful eye to the details.
We are able to offer this diverse range of services because we employ a very dedicated and talented group. All masters at their craft, they enrich our company with backgrounds in systems design, lighting and sound design, set design, stage management, equipment repair, event design and production, graphic arts and design.

Why Dogs?
As best friends and working partners, dogs remain friendly, loyal and ready to serve—exactly what we strive to be to our customers. That’s why dogs have become a personal metaphor for our business ethic. You’ll find dog-related references on our website from the pawprint graphic over our name to the canine characters that represent each department.
But the real reason dogs are a part of PNTA is that we love them. They are some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. They live and go to work with us with their tails wagging. They make us happy. They keep us calm. So, why dogs? Doggone it, why not?
